The FROZEN4 is a 4 mile run / 2 mile walk with proceeds going to a local middle school or high school athlete in need of financial assistance for medical expenses. The 2018 FROZEN4 proceeds will go to Logan Keys. Logan is a 14 year old freshman at Barren County High School who currently is studying homebound. He was a typical teenager who enjoyed football, basketball, hunting and fishing. In March 2017, Logan started developing a pain in his right knee and he was told it was growth pains. A couple months later Logan was not able to move his leg unassisted which prompted more doctor visits. He was diagnosed with Stage 4 Osteoblastic Osteosarcoma. His lifestyle of hunting, fishing and playing sports was quickly replaced with chemotherapy and countless trips to the doctor’s office and hospital. Unfortunately, Logan’s body rejected the chemo, and the tumors in his femur have grown and moved into both lungs.
